Al-Hadi and Tawoos inaugurate projects in Hamadan with more than $236,000 .

The Governor of Sana’a governorate , Abdul Basit Al-Hadi, and the Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, Abdul Mohsen Tawoos, inaugurated today six projects of dams and water ponds in Hamedan district, on the occasion of the seventh anniversary of the glorious September 21 revolution.

The projects that were implemented, within the cash-for-work project , the implementation of the community committees and the Islamic Relief Organization, included the Al-Masbarah Dam, Al-Hadi pond in Qaa Al-Manaqab, the Karatil andAl-Sharqi dam in Dharjan, and Khair and Al-Damm pond, at a cost of 236,808 dollars, under the supervision of SCMCHA branch in the province.

In the opening, Governor Al-Hadi appreciated the role of SCMCHA in coordinating interventions and mobilizing the energies and efforts of society to accomplish such development projects.

He pointed out that SCMCHA is an active partner in the development industry and in facing the challenges resulting from the continuation of the aggression and the siege .
He considered the opening of these projects a qualitative addition to the advancement of agriculture.

In turn,Tawoos confirmed the keenness of SCMCHA in strengthening interventions to support development projects that have a long-term impact and reflection on society.

He pointed out the importance of compound efforts of all sectors and relevant authorities to stimulate community initiatives that serve local development and contribute to transforming society into an essential element in achieving development.

Meanwhile, the director of SCMCHS branch in Sana’a governorate, Abdul Moeen Al-Sharif, appreciated the cooperation of the governorate leadership and the local authority in facilitating the tasks and work of SCMCHA branch.

The opening was attended by the governorate advisor Abdullah Al-Murtada, the director of the works, Engineer Ibrahim Al-Shami, the director of  research Ali Zaid, and the representative of SCMCHA in the district , Saddam Haidan.
