A meeting to discuss arrangements for implementing a multi-sectoral survey.

The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, Abdul Mohsen Tawoos, discussed today with the Deputy Director of OCHA Crispin Radkasha, representatives of IOM and the Central Statistical Organization, arrangements for the implementation of the multi-sectoral survey to be implemented in the coming period.

The meeting, in the presence of members of the Central and Technical Committee, reviewed the preparations for the implementation of the survey to contribute of alleviating the human suffering of the Yemeni people as a result of the aggression and siege.

In the meeting, the Secretary-General of SCMCHA affirmed that the pre-preparation for the survey in accordance with clear mechanisms and criteria would achieve the objectives of the survey, provide services and alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people as a result of the aggression and siege.

He indicated the importance of expedite the completion of the survey process because of its importance in determining the actual need and developing humanitarian response plans for the Yemeni people.

In turn, the Deputy Director of OCHA appreciated the efforts of SCMCHA to facilitate and conduct humanitarian work.
