Discussion the coordination mechanisms and priorities for the Ministry of Education.

A meeting in Sana’a today, which included Minister of Education Yahya Al-Houthi and Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs Ibrahim Al-Hamali, discussed mechanisms for joint coordination between the Ministry and SCMCHA and the identification of priorities for the need for the education sector.

The Minister of Education,in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education Ibrahim Sharaf, stressed the importance of joint coordination and concerted efforts and working according to mechanisms that ensure meeting the needs of the education sector according to priority and overcoming problems by developing appropriate treatments to ensure the advancement of the status of the teacher and the continuation of the educational process.

For his part, the Secretary-General of SCMCHA indicated the keenness to continue the educational process and care for the teacher through concerted efforts and joint coordination through the technical committees to determine the priorities of the needs of the education sector as well as to contribute to facilitating the implementation of projects and achieving the advancement of the educational process in light of the current conditions.

The meeting was attended by the Director of the Technical Office at the Ministry of Education Ziad Al-Rafiq, the Director of the Office of the Chairman of SCMCHA, Muhammad Faris, and the Director of the Office of the Minister of Education Ali Abbas.
