SCMCHA distributes 2,160 food baskets to affected families in Marib governorate .

SCMCHA branch in Marib Governorate launched today the distribution of 2,160 food baskets to poor families affected by the aggression in Harib Bayhan district, with the support of WFP

At the inauguration, which was attended by Minister of State Nabih Abu Nishtan and the Governor of Marib Ali Muhammad Taiman, who stressed the importance of providing assistance to needy families in the Harib district, which was liberated after years of suffering under occupation and which coincides with the occasion of the Prophet’s birthday, embodying the values ​​of mercy and solidarity that the Prophet urged,peace be upon him and his family .

Abu Nishtan and Taiman appreciated the efforts of SCMCHA in helping poor and needy families, stressing the importance of concerted efforts to support the people of the liberated districts, which are now enjoying security and stability.

In turn, the director of SCMCHA branch in the governorate, Saleh Al-Sharif, indicated that the distribution of food baskets in the Harib district coincides with the celebration of the Prophet’s birthday, to alleviate the suffering of families affected by the aggression that caused the worst humanitarian crisis in the world.

Al-Sharif called on relief organizations to alleviate the suffering of the displaced by expanding their activities to meet the needs, confirming that SCMCHA is working with partners to implement several emergency relief campaigns to support the children of the recently liberated districts.
