Discussion of ICRC interventions in Yemen.

The head of the International Cooperation Department of the Supreme Council for Humanitarian Affairs, Mana’a al-Asal, met today with head of ICRC mission Katrina Ritz and her deputy Greg Mueller.

The meeting,in the presence of The Deputy Head of the Cooperation Department Ali Al-Kahlani, discussed committee’s interventions and ways to expand its humanitarian and service activities as well as joint efforts to strengthen coordination between SCMCHA ICRC.

Al-Asal said the mission’s interventions in Yemen have made a positive impression on the community, despite the lack of interventions, but the ICRC has been keen to provide high-quality services by implementing service projects and providing assistance that contributes to alleviating the suffering of citizens.
