Meeting in Sana’a to discusses mechanism to facilitate renewal and extension of agreements for organizations.

A meeting in Sana’a today, chaired by the head of the Department of International Cooperation at the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, Mana’a al-Asal, discussed mechanisms to facilitate and speed up the signing of the renewal and extension of agreements to conduct humanitarian work.

The meeting, which included Deputy Director of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs Crispin Redkasha, Country Director of Save the Childern Organization Xavier Veferbert and Country Director of NRC Mohamed Abdi, reviewed steps to facilitate and expedite the signing of agreements by committing to provide the required documents in accordance with humanitarian procedures and principles.

The Head of the Department of International Cooperation confirmed the Council’s keenness to provide facilities and work in accordance with the principles and standards of humanitarian work to ensure the achievement of humanitarian objectives.

He pointed out the need to work within the framework of the National Authority, as one of the most important principles of humanitarian work transparency and continuous coordination to ensure that the course and objectives of humanitarian work are achieved.

The meeting was attended by project managers Emad Hajar and international organizations Turki Jamil.
