Launching the project of the rehabilitation and training center for the disabled in Al-Hodeidah.

The Secretary General of the Supreme Council for The Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, Abdul Mohsen Tawoos,and First Deputy Governor of Hodeidah Governorate Ahmed Al-Beshre, have launched a project to build a rehabilitation and training center for the disabled in Al Jarahy district .

At the inauguration, in the presence of Assistant Provincial Undersecretary Mutahar al-Hadi and the directors of the Branch of the Supreme Council of Hodeidah Jaber Al Razhi, as well as director Jarahy district, Taha al-Maaiti, Tawoos and Al Basheri appreciated the initiative of the businessmen in supporting the implementation of humanitarian projects.

They confirmed the importance of local initiatives in strengthening the resilience of the citizens especially in light of the scarcity of possibility and resources as a result of the aggression and the blockade.

After the inauguration, the Secretary General of the Council of Humanitarian Affairs and the First Deputy of Hodeidah Province, rewarded Belt Assem and Mohammed Al-Hossam the council’ shield for their role in implementing the project, which concerns disabled people.

In addition, Tawoos and Al-Bashari briefed on the progress of the work in the departments of al Jarahy hospital and the level of services it provides to the expatriates from the ddistrict and the neighboring directorates.

They listened to an explanation of the extent of the services provided by the hospital since its opening, which included the treatment of 7,000 cases and 90 surgeries. appreciating the community’s contributions to this aspect.

“Health organizations should play their part in supporting the health sector in accordance with the need set by the provincial health office,” they  said.

They urged humanitarian organizations to provide the necessary support to al Jarahy rural  hospital and provide it with the necessary equipment,and medical personnel.
