The secretary general of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation (SCMCHA), AbdulMohsen Tawoos,met today with resident representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and head of the Peace Support Team Natasha Van Regen.
The meeting discussed the coordination and work mechanisms for the rehabilitation project of the port of Hodeidah and the lifts for the unloading of ships that had already been targeted by the aggression.
During the meeting, it was agreed to form a committee composed of the Supreme Council for Humanitarian Affairs, the Ministry of Transport and the Red Sea Ports Authority for the purpose of assessing, studying the need and monitoring the progress of the work.
Tawoos also stressed that the Supreme Council will make sufficient efforts to facilitate the implementation of the project because it has a great interest in restoring the vitality of the port as the only artery for Yemenis.
Ok Lochma praised the cooperation and facilitation of the Supreme Council for the implementation of development projects.
