Fares meets with the Regional Director of the International Labor Organization
Assistant Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, Mohamed Fares, discussed with the Regional Director of the International Labor Organization, Ruba Jaradat, the mechanism for enhancing cooperation to alleviate human suffering.
In the meeting, which was attended by the Head of International Cooperation, Faisal Modhesh, the Assistant Secretary-General stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation and joint work to implement projects that contribute to alleviate the worst human crisis in the world caused by the aggression and blockade over nine years.
He reviewed SCMCHA’s efforts to facilitate organizations’ work, conforming the importance of full coordination with SCMCHA as it is the single window concerned with the work of organizations in Yemen, calling for mobilizing funds and implementing development projects during the next stage.
For her part, Jaradat said that her first visit to Yemen aims to closely examine the humanitarian needs, with the aim of mobilizing funds and working to implement sustainable projects.
