Al-Hamali inspects the situation of the General Authority for the Development of Tihama.
Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation,Ibrahim Al-Hamli, was briefed today on the situation of the General Authority for the Development of Tihama and the damage caused by the aggression
and the unjust siege.
Al-Hamli and FAO representativ,during their inspection visit to Hodeidah, listened to the authority’s head, Ali Hazza, explain the difficulties faced by the authority as a result of the aggression’s destruction of its facilities, buildings, and agricultural areas, as well as the targeting of the agricultural authority’s equipment and mechanisms in the governorate and its agricultural areas in the districts.

Al-Hamali emphasized the importance of supporting and rehabilitating the Tihama Development Authority in order for it to play its role in serving farmers, urging organizations working in Yemen to implement agricultural projects that contribute to the reality and future of agriculture in Tihama as Yemen’s food basket.
Abdel Salam Al-Nawab, Director of Local Organizations, accompanied the delegation.
