Distribution of shelter aid to IDP in Sana’a governorate

Within the framework of SCMCHA effors and its branches in the governorates to alleviate the suffering of IDP especially in the winter season.

SCMCHA branch in Sana’a Governorate and the General Organization for Yemeni Social Workers and Psychologists inaugurated the distribution of shelter aid for 1,362 displaced and affected families in the districts of Khawlan, Bani Matar, Bani Hashish, Sanhan and Bani Bahloul, as part of the shelter protection and assistance services project with the support of the High Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs. refugees.

Where aid was distributed in the Sanhan and Bani Bahloul districts, 578 displaced families benefited from winter aid, while 387 displaced families benefited in the Bani Hisish district, 312 displaced families in the Bani Matar district, and 85 displaced families in the camps of Bani Suleih, Bani Touq, Al-Maflaha, Qaa Al-Souq and Al-Qalib in the Khawlan district.

On the one hand, the director of SCMCHA the branch in the governorate, Abdul Moeen Al-Sharif, explained that the aid comes within the efforts of SCMCHA to alleviate the suffering of the displaced families.

He pointed out that the aid included blankets to help the displaced in light of the cold wave that we are experiencing these days in the winter, which contributes to improving their living conditions as well as alleviates the effects of the current humanitarian crisis left by the aggression and siege on our country.
