Al-Hamli meets UNICEF representative in Yemen.

The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs Ibrahim Al-Hamli met today with the UNICEF Resident Representative in Yemen, Philippe DeMille.

The meeting reviewed the interventions and projects implemented by the organization in all sectors, including health, education and water.

Al-Hamli confirmed the importance  of joint and effective coordination to facilitate the work of the organization.

He stressed SCMCHA’s keenness to overcome difficulties and find appropriate solutions and treatments to move forward in implementing humanitarian projects.

He pointed to the importance of strengthening aspects of cooperation, developing mechanisms for joint work between SCMCHA and the organization in the humanitarian field, and improving the quality of services in various sectors to alleviate the suffering of citizens, as a result of the worst humanitarian crisis in the world, caused by the aggression and siege.

For his part, the UNICEF representative    appreciated the role of SCMCHA in overcoming the organization’s work in implementing service projects in various fields.

The meeting was attended by the director of international organizations department, Turki Jamil, the director of  the evaluation and Monitoring department, Muhammad Al-Razza’, and the  the director of UNICEF information officer, Kamal Al-Waziza.
