Discussion of INTERSOS interventions and projects.

The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation Abdul Mohsen Tawoos discussed today with the head of the Mission of INTERSOS , Evelis Lerensot, the organization’s interventions and projects targeting refugees and IDPs from the southern and eastern governorates.

At the meeting, which was attended by The head of Single Window Department Hamza al-Mukhtar, Tawoos called for expanding the implementation of projects in new areas, focusing on the development and service nature and the projects to have a sustainable impact.

Tawoos affirmed the importance of sustainable development projects that organizations should move towards such projects of effective value in society, appreciating the role of INTERSOS.

Tawoos stressed the SCMCHA’s readiness to overcome all difficulties and facilitate the organization’s tasks to implement projects and activities in the field.

In turn, Lerinsot reviewed the projects that has been implemented by the organization and targeted refugees and IDPs in the southern and eastern provinces and the services provided to them.
