Tawoos discusses cash-for-work projects with ACTED organization.

The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, Abdul Mohsen Tawoos, met today with the country director of the ACTED organization Sar-Farrar Al-Din.

The meeting, in the presence of the head of the Single Window Department, Hamza Al-Mukhtar, discussed the mechanisms of continuing the implementation of cash-for-work projects in the Rima and Dhamar governorates, as well aspects related to the humanitarian situation and the organization’s tasks and activities.

Tawoos stressed that the cash project is one of the most important projects in the current phase as it contributes to creating job opportunities for many families who lack sources of income, as well contributes to strengthening the community resilience .

For his part, Sir Farrar Al-Din appreciated SCMCHA efforts that facilitated the implementation of projects, stressing that the organization is ready intervene in the implementation of projects according to the needs presented by SCMCHA.

The meeting was attended by the Director General of UN and Director ofInternational Organizations Turki Jamil, the Director General of SCMCHA Branch in Hodeidah Governorate Jaber Al-Razhi and the Director of Relations of the Organization Abdullah Al-Qadi.
