Discussing the final arrangements of implementing the food security survey for the current year.

Head of the Single Window Department of SCMCHA, Chairman of the Technical Committee Hamzah Al-Mukhtar, discussed today with the Resident Representative of the WFP, Laurent Pokera, the arrangements for the food security and livelihood survey process for the current year.

The meeting discussed the final arrangements for the implementation of the Food Security and Livelihoods Survey, on which the size of the need for food aid provided to the beneficiaries is determined, with the participation of representatives of UNICEF and FAO.

Al Mukhtar explained that the Food Security and Livelihood Survey is one of the important projects that aim to alleviate of humanitarian suffering of Yemeni as a result of the aggression and its ongoing siege.

On his part, the Resident Representative of WFP indicated that the food security survey process will contribute of developing the coordination aspect and open wider areas for the development of humanitarian work, as well as work to alleviate the suffering of citizens.

The meeting was attended by General Directo of International Organizations at SCMCHA , Turki Jamil, General Director of information center, Ibrahim Al-Houthi and General Director of programs Jamal.
