NAMCHA begins the distribution of relief food assistance of Jahana in Sana’a

 The National Authority for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in Sana’a province on Monday launched the process of distribution of relief food assistance in the district of Jahana last September, with the support of the World Food Program and the implementation of the Islamic Relief Partner.

 During the inauguration process , the director of the local council, Sheikh Mohammed Saleh Al-Bashari, praised the efforts of the World Food Program and the Islamic Relief Organization in its interventions to alleviate the suffering of the displaced and needy families in the Directorate.

 Al-Bashari pointed out that the aggression against our country caused the deterioration of the humanitarian and economic conditions and the spread of poverty among the society.

 He stressed that the Directorate of Jahana among the affected districts targeted by the aggression . It hosts thousands of displaced people from the directorates of the province and other governorates.

 He also praised the role of the NAMCHA in the province in the coordination of humanitarian work and facilitate the work of organizations to ensure the delivery of humanitarian assistance to the affected and needy in the Directorate. On the other hand , the distribution supervisor of the Islamic Relief Organization, Zaid Al-Washli, praised the role played by the National Authority in facilitating the work of the Organization in the Directorate and its cooperation in the delivery of assistance to the needy in all villages and isolation of the Directorate.

 He also appreciate the cooperation and facilities provided by the National Authority to accelerate work in various aspects To alleviate suffering under the humanitarian situation.
