Al-Hamli, Awad, & UN representative review damage caused by aggression at Sa’ada University

The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, Ibrahim Al-Hamli, the Governor of Sa’ada, Muhammad Awad, and the Humanitarian Affairs Coordinator – United Nations Resident Representative, Julien Harneis, visited today,Tuesday, Sa’ada University .

Al-Hamli, Awad, and Harneis, along with the Deputy Governor – Director of the Supreme Council Branch, Muhammad Hussein Baydan, the Director of the OCHA Office in Yemen, Markus Werne, and a number of officials from the offices of international organizations in the province, were briefed on the university’s needs and the damage it was exposed to as a result of the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression’s air strikes.

Al-Hamli stressed the importance of the interventions of the United Nations , international and local organizations in Sa’ada University, through the rehabilitation of the university’s study halls and facilities so that it can present its scientific and enlightening message in the required manner.

While the Humanitarian Affairs Coordinator – United Nations Resident Representative, Harneis, expressed his happiness at visiting a number of facilities in Sa’ada province to review the humanitarian conditions there.

He appreciated the efforts of the Supreme Council for Humanitarian Affairs for the facilities provided to organizations to implement humanitarian work.
