Al-Hamli and Al-Bakhiti meet the team of Fernas Shoman Consulting Company in the field of electricity generation

The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, Ibrahim Al-Hamli, and the Minister of Electricity and Energy, Dr. Muhammad Al-Bukhaiti, met today with the team of Fernas Shoman Company, a global consultancy working in the field of electricity generation and renewable energy.

 

During the meeting, the Secretary-General of the Humanitarian Affairs Council expressed his willingness to implement development projects in the field of energy and electricity in order to contribute to improving electricity services, particularly in light of Yemen’s worst humanitarian crisis in. the world as a result of the aggression and blockade.

 

The Minister of Electricity and Energy, for his part, emphasized the importance of involving experts and consultants with scientific competencies in the preparation of studies for renewable energy projects in Yemen, in order to ensure the development of the electricity sector and achieve energy sustainability.

In the light of the country’s current situation, he stressed the significance of coordinating efforts and working as a team to alleviate citizens’ suffering.

Mohammed Abdul Rahman, a company representative, delivered a brief report on the energy production project as well as studies linked to investment potential in the sector of renewable energy.

 

The meeting was attended by Faisal Modhesh, Head of the International Cooperation Department at SCMCHA, Ahmed Al-Mutawakel, Assistant Undersecretary for the Planning and Projects Sector at the Ministry of Electricity, Turki Jamil, Director of UN Organizations at SCMCHA, and Muhammad Al-Talou’, Director of Renewable Energy.
