SCMCHA and WFP discuss joint cooperation.

Head of the Single Window Department of SCMCHA, Hamzah Al-Mukhtar, met today with the representative of the World Food Program, Laurent Boquira.

During the meeting, they discussed cooperation aspects and a joint coordination mechanism to face the humanitarian disaster that the Yemeni people are going through.

At the meeting, Al Mukhtar stressed the necessity of the return of the monthly aid provided by the World Food Program, and its continuous disbursement, and the expansion of its activities in a way that alleviates the human suffering as a result of ongoing aggression and siege.

He indicated that SCMCHA is keen to overcome and facilitate all activities related to organizations working in the humanitarian field in Yemen.

The meeting was attended by UNICEF Nutrition Officer Dr. Kennedy, the Director General of International and International Organizations Turki Jamil, and the General Director of the Information Center Ibrahim Al-Houthi.
