NAMCHA DIRECTOR MET WITH THE DIRECTOR of the UNICEF Money Transfer Project and the Director of Qatar Charity Office.

The head of the National Authority for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, Abdulmohsen Abdullah Tawoos, met today with UNICEF cash transfer project manager Dr. Shirin Varkey and Director of the cash program at the organization, Betty Koyo.
The meeting discussed aspects related to the cash transfer project and the extent of Yemenis benefit from this project and the importance of making exchange procedures easy and handing over dues to beneficiaries. Tawoos praised UNICEF’s efforts to alleviate the worsening humanitarian situation in Yemen due to the economic conditions imposed by the continued aggression and blockade.
The Chairman of the National Authority for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, Abdulmohsen Tawoos, met today with the Director Office of the Qatar Charity Association Mohammed Al-Wai.
The meeting discussed issues related to the humanitarian situation in Yemen, the challenges facing the work and the humanitarian burdens left by the aggression.
NAMCHA Director ensured that they are eager to provide facilities for the success of humanitarian work and provide the appropriate conditions for this, especially in this situation experienced by Yemen as a result of aggression and siege .
The Director of the Qatar Charity Association Office, said that the Society did nothing to support Yemen ,or to contribute to alleviate the human suffering of the Yemeni people. The meeting was attended by Faisal Mudhash, the agency’s coordinators and the humanitarian cooperation, Mana al Asal.
