Al-Hamli discusses with the Governor of Saada the response plan for priority projects in the governorate for the current year

The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, Ibrahim Al-Hamli, discussed today with the Governor of Saada, Muhammad Awad, the response plan for priority projects in the governorate for the current year.

During the meeting,in the presence of the Head of the Planning and Evaluation Department, Ali Al-Kahlani, and the Undersecretary of Saada Governorate for Humanitarian Affairs, Director of SCMCHA’s Branch, Muhammad Baydan, Al-Hamli confirmed that SCMCHA worked with humanitarian partners to implement a number of development and service projects in Saada Governorate during the past year, especially In the field of water, health, roads and education.

He indicated SCMCHA’s keenness to implement projects and interventions that contribute to alleviating the human suffering of citizens as a result of the aggression and siege in all governorates, including Saada.

Al-Hamli confirmed the importance of implementing development and service projects in accordance with the priorities of need in the governorate, pointing out that the projects prepared by the governorate have been approved and included in the humanitarian response plan for the current year, as well as the adoption of related projects according to the priorities of need.

For his part, the Governor of Saada appreciated SCMCHA’s efforts and its interest in Saada Governorate through implementing service and development projects during the past year, noting the importance of implementing development and service projects during the current year.

The meeting was attended by General Director of Planning and Projects Jamal Barih,General Director of Monitoring and Evaluation Mohammed Al-Razzaa, and local organizations Abdulsalam Al-Nawab
