Al-Kahlani and Al-Harsi open 85 housing units for displaced and affected persons in Rimah governorate

The head of the Department of International Cooperation of SCMCHA, Ali al-Kahlani, the agent of Rimah governorate, Fahad al-Harsi, opened 85 housing units for displaced and affected persons, in Rima governorate.

 

The project involves 85 housing units, comprising 43 housing units in Ramaa subdistrict , Ja ‘afari district, and 42 housing units in Bani Khuli of Balad al Tam district, within the warm winter project, with a cost of $ 215 thousand financed by the Qatar Red Crescent.

 

At the opening, which was attended by the Director of SCMCHA Branch l of Rimah Governorate, Hilal Al-Haddad, the Head of the Department of International Cooperation, Alkalani, stressed that the construction of housing units for dozens of displaced and affected families who were displaced by the aggression from their areas of residence, contributes to alleviating the suffering of displaced and affected persons, in the world’s worst humanitarian crisis caused by aggression and blockade.

 

He drew attention to the High SCMCHA’s concern for displaced and affected persons through the implementation of their own housing units project.

 

Al-Kahlani stressed the importance of  completing housing units and provide them with water tanks.

 

In turn, the agent of Rima governorate appreciated for the efforts of SCMCHA’S leadership in implementing the project, which would provide adequate shelter for displaced and affected persons and stabilize their lives.

 

He called for implementation  of projects and activities to improve the livelihoods of the camp’s displaced persons.
