Al-Hamli holds an emergency meeting to help those affected by torrential rains in Al-Jawf and Hajjah

The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, Ibrahim Al-Hamli, discussed, in an emergency meeting today, with representatives of UN, international and local organizations, urgent interventions to help those affected by torrential rains.

Al-Hamli called for the speedy implementation of urgent interventions to confront the damages of the floods in the governorates of Al-Jawf and Hajjah, which damaged dozens of homes and the razing of agricultural lands.

He pointed to the importance of organizations and humanitarian partners to play their role in providing the urgent needs of the affected families with tents, shelter bags and food baskets.
