Discussing the humanitarian and relief needs of Al-Dhalea Governorate.

The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, Ibrahim Al-Hamli, discussed today with the Acting Governor of Al-Dhalea Abdul Latif Al-Shagdari the governorate’s needs in the humanitarian and relief fields and ways to provide them according to the available possibilities.

The meeting discussed the challenges that impede the delivery of aid and the importance of strengthening the role of humanitarian organizations in the governorate, in order to alleviate the suffering of citizens in light of the continued aggression and siege.

In the meeting, Al-Hamli confirmed the importance of coordinating with SCMCHA to overcome the difficulties that arise in the field.

He pointed out the importance of the role of the local authority in identifying the need and overcoming the difficulties that would ensure that aid reaches its beneficiaries in a way that meets the needs according to priorities.

For his part, the Acting Governor of Al-Dhalea stressed the importance of directing humanitarian aid according to the priorities of need and focusing on the most affected areas.

He appreciated the efforts of SCMCHA in the field of coordination to facilitate humanitarian and relief work, which is considered the most important in light of the human suffering caused by the aggression and siege on the Yemeni people.

The meeting was attended by Mahmoud Wajih Al-Din, General Director of SCMCHA Branch in Al-Dhalea Governorate.
