Al-Hamli discusses with the representative of IOM future activities and projects.

The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, Ibrahim Al-Hamli, discussed today with the representative of the International Organization for Migration in Sana’a Matthew Huber, the organization’s future projects and activities.

In the meeting, which was attended by the headof the Planning department, Faisal Modhish and head of International Cooperation Department, Al-Hamli stressed the importance of coordinating with SCMCHA, submitting reports, and resuming priority projects related to IDP, in order to solve and address the problems related to them, especially in light of the exceptional circumstances that Yemen is going through as a result of the ongoing siege and aggression.

Al Hamli pointed out the importance of providing the necessary support to illegal immigrants in Yemen and work to return them to their countries.

The Secretary-General of SCMCHA confirmed the concerted efforts, effective coordination, and pursuit of the common humanitarian objective to overcome obstacles and challenges.

For his part, the representative of IOM stressed the keenness to coordinate and strengthen the existing cooperation frameworks to enhance the tasks of humanitarian acts and alleviate human suffering and humanitarian need.

The meeting was attended by head of the Biometric Survey Committee Anwar Al-Lahji and Director of International Organizations department of SCMCHA Turki Jamil.
