Discussing Spanish MSF’s projects and activities in Yemen.

The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, Ibrahim Al-Hamli, discussed today with the head of the Spanish ‎Médecins Sans Frontières mission in Yemen, mechanisms for coordination and implementation of projects in the medical and humanitarian fields in Yemen.

The meeting reviewed aspects related to the progress of work, the challenges facing the organization, and the appropriate treatments to facilitate the course of medical and humanitarian work.

In the meeting, Al-Hamli indicated the importance of effective and continuous coordination with SCMCHA to overcome difficulties in a way that contributes to the implementation of projects according to the priorities of the actual need.

He affirmed that SCMCHA continues to double its efforts to facilitate the tasks of humanitarian work as well as set up appropriate facilities to serve the fields of humanitarian work.

In turn, the head of the Spanish mission of MSF appreciated the efforts of SCMCHA in facilitating the work, stressing the organization’s commitment to the process of continuous coordination with SCMCHA in order to achieve the common objectives of humanitarian work.

The meeting was attended by the Director of International Organizations department of SCMCHA, Turki Jamil, the Assistant Head of Mission, Muhammad Al-Siyaghi, and the Medical Coordinator, Elena Grandiou
