SCMCHA branch in Sa’da condemns the aggression’s targeting of the Talams field water project.
The branch of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation in Sa’da Governorate condemned the targeting of the U.S.-Saudi aggression air force yesterday evening to the Talmas water project in the city of Sa’da.
A statement issued by SCMCHA’s branch in Sa’da today denounced the aggression’s direct targeting of collecting water tanks while they were in operation, which led to severe damage to the nearby electric generator, the solar energy system, as well as the project was completely stopped from service, and the submersibles operating for five nearby wells associated with the project were damaged.
The statement considered the targeting as a brutal crime that directly targets the lives of civilians, as the Talms field feeds 135,000 residents of Saada city and its rounds .
The statement pointed out that the coalition of aggression deliberately targeted service projects, sources of civilian life, which caused great damage to the citizens and displaced people in the city.
The statement also confirmed that all international and human rights organizations have to condemn and denounce it as well as quickly address the catastrophic damage to the lives of citizens who will have to buy water at exorbitant and high prices in light of the lack of oil derivatives .
SCMCHA confirmed the continuation of efforts to provide everything that would alleviate the suffering of IDP and affected people of the governorate and other residents.
