Tawoos briefs on the needs of a number of health facilities in Sana’a.
The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, Abdel Mohsen Tawoos, was briefed today on the conditions of Esnad Hospital for Psychiatric Cases.
Tawoos, in the presence of the director of SCMCHA branch in the secretariat, Abdel Wahab Sharaf El-Din, and the head of the Social Welfare Department at the Ministry of Defense, Dr. Muhannad Al-Mutawakel, inspected the needs of the Health and Psychological Care Center and the national program to address the phenomenon of beggary in the Amanat Al-Asimah.
He heard from the concerned parties an explanation about the needs of the hospital, the center, the program and the requirements of the patients.
The Secretary-General of SCMCHA explained that the visit comes to assess the needs of Isnad Hospital, the Care Center and the National Program to work on providing the necessary support according to the available capabilities.
He affirmed the SCMCHA’s interest in providing the necessary care for mental patients and taking care of their health, food and housing.
He also indicated that SCMCHA will work with humanitarian partners to provide support to them, especially under difficult circumstances as a result of the continued aggression and siege.
