Discussing the activities and projects of the French Médecins du Monde

The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, Abdulmohsen Tawoos, discussed today with the representative of the French Doctors of the World, Wafaa Al-Saidi, the organization’s projects in the field of health and the mechanism for enhancing its interventions according to the actual need.

The meeting, which was attended by the Deputy Head of the International Cooperation Department of SCMCHA, Ali Al-Kahlani, reviewed the activities of the organization and the problems it faces as well as ways to address them, to ensure the implementation of its activities as needed.

Tawoos pointed out the importance of the organization coordinating with SCMCHA in implementing humanitarian projects and activities that contribute to alleviating the suffering of citizens in light of the humanitarian catastrophe that Yemen is going through as a result of the continued aggression and siege.

In turn, the representative of the French Médecins du Monde organization confirmed the organization’s commitment to coordinating with SCMCHA in implementing its activities.
He also appreciated the interventions the council’s facilities for humanitarian partners in Yemen.

The meeting was attended by the Director General of Projects in the Council, Imad Hajar.
