Tawoos meets the representative of FAO organization in Yemen.

The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation Abdul Mohsen Tawoos discussed today with FAO representative Hussein Jaden the humanitarian and development aspects as well as the problems of agricultural work.

The meeting, in the presence of The head of Single-window Department Hamza al-Mukhtar and Head of the International Cooperation department Mana’a Al-Asal, touched on issues related to the provision of assistance to support the agricultural sector.

Tawoos confirmed the importance of creating projects that meet the actual need of the agricultural sector, serving farms , food security sources and contributing to the provision of sources of income for agricultural families to alleviate their suffering as a result of the going aggression and blockade.

In turn , the FAO representative expressed readiness to implement priority agricultural projects that serve Yemen’s agricultural development in coordination with SCMCHA.
