Discussion of cooperation between SCMCHA and Handy Cap.
The head of the International Cooperation Department of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, Mana’a Al-Asal, discussed today the partnership between SCMCHA and the organization
with the new representative of Handi Cap organization in Yemen.
The meeting, in the presence of Vice President of the Department of International Cooperation Ali Al-Kahlani and delegates of the Disabled Fund, touched on topics related to the provision of services to people with special needs and ways to intensify the organization’s work in Yemen in the coming period.
Al-Asal stressed importance of compound efforts and expand the organization’s interventions to meet the requirements of people with special needs.
He indicated the importance of taking care of people with special needs and provide them with psychological and financial support.
He called for the involvement of civil society organizations in humanitarian interventions for people with special needs.
In turn, the representative of Handy Cap pointed out stressed that the organization is currently working to redouble efforts in the coming period to expand its interventions to contribute to meeting the requirements of people with special needs.
The meeting was attended by the director of international organizations of SCMCHA Turki Jamil, Director of projects Imad Hajar, Director of Monitoring and Evaluation Mohammed Ali.
