President Al-Mashat meets with the Secretary General of SCMCHA.

His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council, met today with The Secretay General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation Abdul Mohsen Tawoos.

During the meeting, the coordination aspects between SCMCHA and international humanitarian organizations working in Yemen was discussed as well as the funding , grants to Yemen and how to use them to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people under the unjust U.S. blockade.

The meeting touched on the visit of the Secretary-General of SCMCHA to a number of provinces, inspecting the humanitarian situation, camps for IDPs and their needs, the requirements of humanitarian action, and touching the suffering of the Yemeni people in light of the continuing aggression and siege.

President Al-Mashat stressed the concern for the continuation of humanitarian action in light of the increasing suffering of the Yemeni people as a result of the continuation of the aggression , the U.S.-Saudi blockade, and the repercussions of the economic war of the alliance of aggression.

He stressed the importance of facilitating the access to assistance to those affected and IDP as well as to overcome difficulties for international organizations that comply with humanitarian laws.

He also indicated the measurement that SCMCHA takes for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in order to alleviate the suffering of Yemenis.
