meeting to discuss national information networking proposal.

The meeting discussed today the proposal to link national information between state institutions to provide service and to avoid the shortcomings behind lack of information or data repetition.

The meeting, in the presence of The Secretary General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation Abdul Mohsen Tawoos, Deputy Minister of Interior Major General Abdul Majid Al-Morteza, Chairman of the General Authority of Zakat Shamsan Abu Nashtan, and the head of the Civil Status Department, Major General Mohammed al-Hakim, stressed the importance of coordination between the various entities through a specialist body to handle the information bank matter to form a board to head the network of connectivity from representatives of all concerned authorities.

Tawoos approved the formation of a technical committee to discuss the proposal and develop the appropriate implementation plan to meet the common interest of all parties and improve the level of work in the field of service delivery and humanitarian work in all its aspects.

The meeting was attended by The Undersecretary of the Information Sector at the Ministry of Civil Service Mohammed Abu Taleb and the Undersecretary of the Information Sector of the Zakat Authority Engineer Mujahid al-Nusra, the  head of the Central and Technical Committee of SCMCHA
Eng. Anwar Hashem Allahigy, director general of communications and information technology at the Ministry of Interior Ziad Al-Sa’id, head of the Information Systems Department headed by The Republic Mohammed al-Jahmi, and a number of representatives of the relevant authorities.
