Discussion of health nutrition project activity

The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation Abdul Mohsen Tawoos discussed today with the Director of the Technical Office and International Cooperation of the Ministry of Health Morteza Al-Murtada and WFP Resident Representative Laurent Boquera the activity of the health nutrition project.

In the meeting, which was attended by the head of the international cooperation Mana’a al Asel , and head of planning departments, Mutahar Zeid, Tawoos indicated that all problems related to the activities of the health nutrition project should be examined with the Ministry of Health.

He confirmed the importance of continuous coordination with SCMCHA to ensure the functioning of work as well as to contribute to facilitating humanitarian tasks.

The Secretary-General gave an opportunity to extend the activities of the health nutrition project to the beginning of July this year, and to work on the necessary treatments in the project.

While the resident representative of WFP confirmed the continuation of the program in its humanitarian duties in Yemen. Pointing out to the importance of joint work that serves the common objectives.

The meeting was attended by the director of international organizations of SCMCHA Turki Jamil, and Director of projects Imad Hajar.
