Tawoos meets WFP resident representative.

The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation Abdul Mohsen Tawoos discussed today with WFP Resident Representative Laurent Boukira the activities of the WFP on the ground and the mechanism for accommodating IDPs and the new victims.

At the meeting, Tawoos indicated the importance of expanding the work in accordance with the criteria of need and priorities of the field conditions.

Tawoos as stressed the concern to provide beneficiaries with an integrated need in accordance with quality standards to ensure the alleviation of human suffering.

The resident representative of the Food Programme confirmed WFP’s keenness to provide services in accordance with the criteria of need within the framework of joint coordination and in order to achieve common humanitarian objectives.

The meeting was attended by head of Single-window department Hamza al-Mukhtar, Head of the Centeral and technical committee- SCMCHA ,Eng. Anwar Hashem Allahigy.
