Discussion of ways to implement the projects of VHI.

The Secretary-General of SCMCHA, Abdul Mohsen Tawoos, discussed today with the representative of VHI , Mohammed Al-Bihani, the organization’s projects and the mechanism of strengthening its interventions in accordance with the actual need according to the plan submitted by the relevant authorities.

The meeting, which was attended by the head of International Cooperation department, Mana’a Al-Asal, reviewed the organization’s projects and the problems that faces in the field to find appropriate solutions that could contribute of the continuation of work and provide services to the beneficiaries in accordance with the criteria of need and in coordination with the relevant authorities through the Council.

Tawoos said the focus should be on priority projects that will serve citizens and alleviate their suffering, including agricultural projects, water sources and other projects that have direct and sustainable benefit to the beneficiaries.

He pointed out the importance of raising the level of work and expanding humanitarian projects in line with the scale of need and contributes to alleviating the suffering of the Yemeni people.

Tawoos confirmed the council’s keenness to provide all facilities for the conduct of humanitarian work, stressing the importance of coordinating first and foremost to find solutions and develop appropriate remedies to move forward in achieving the objectives and tasks of humanitarian work.

For his part, the representative of the organization appreciated the efforts of the Council to overcome difficulties and facilitate the work of humanitarian organizations working in Yemen and to increasing quality of services and provide them according to the actual need in the field.

The meeting was in the presence of the director of international organizations Turki Jamil,Director of evaluation and following-up Mohammed Ali and director of projects Imad Hajar and Director of legal Abdullah Al-Khazan, as well as Directors of IHV , Relation director Essam al-Zafari, food director Majid Al Ali , director of nutrition iIbtghal Qalaa, and water helmy al-Ghari director of livelihoods Maher Mereit and Director of relations Jalal Al-Derbi.
