Discussion of al-Bayda governorate’s needs for service projects.

Acting of Al-Bayda Governorate, Hammoud Shathan, discussed with the head of the Department of International Cooperation at SCMCHA, Mana’a al-Asal, the interventions of The UNPOS in meeting the province’s needs for service projects.

The meeting, which included provincial undersecretary Mutahar al-Māouri and UNPOS water and sanitation coordinator Abdul Wahab Salah, reviewed the organization’s activities and future interventions, particularly in the areas of water, sanitation, health, hygiene and prisons.

In the meeting, Shathan confirmed the need to provide service projects in the province to meet the needs and alleviate the suffering of the people .
Al-Bayda faces a major shortage of humanitarian services and development projects.

The head of the Department of International Cooperation urged THE UNPOS to implement service projects in the governorate in accordance with the emergency need of water, sanitation, health, prisons and others.

He affirmed the SCMCHA readines to provide the necessary support and to overcome the difficulties in implementing its programmes and activities in the province.

The meeting was attended by the director of the council’s branch in Al-Bayda governorate, Abdul Jabbar al-Ami, the director of the governorate’s hygiene, Abdul Hakim Jahaf, the director of the Agriculture Office Ahmed Salem al-Hadrami, the deputy director of the council’s branch, Abdelhafiz al-Mughrabi, and the director of the hygiene fund, Barda’a Ali al-Hasani.
