Meeting discusses performance and the challenges of SCMCHA work

A meeting hold today in Sana’a to discussed the level of performance of the General Secretariat of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation and its branches in the governorates during the past two months as well as the steps to improve performance and promote humanitarian work.

The meeting, chaired by The Council’s Secretary General Abdul Mohsen Tawoos, in the presence of the heads of departments and General Directors briefed on the work mechanisms, ways to develop the performance as well as the mechanisms of the progress of the projects and the importance of raising reports of the achievement, implementation of plans and activating the role of follow-up and evaluation.

The meeting reviewed a number of difficulties and challenges facing the progress of the work in the field and appropriate solutions and treatments to move forward in implementing the tasks and objectives of the Supreme Council in the field of humanitarian work.

The Secretary-General of the Council confirmed the importance of hard work to promote humanitarian work, serve the community, improve performance and direct humanitarian assistance on track in accordance with plans and mechanisms to ensure the best results.

Tawoos also indicated the importance of the role played by the Council in the framework of coordination , follow-up and directing activities according to the priorities of the need, which requires more efforts in order to improve the level of work and achieve the basic goal of alleviating the human suffering caused by the aggression and the blockade as well as facing all the challenges that may hinder the path of achieving this objectives.
