Tawoos meets with The Head of the Canadian, British and Swedish Projects Team at ADRA.

The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation , Abdul Mohsen Tawoos, met today with the head of the Canadian, British and Swedish projects team of Adra,Thierry Bignut.

The meeting, which was attended by the heads of the international cooperation departments, Mana’a Al Asal and the Planningand project manager Imad Hajar, discussed the humanitarian situation and the organization’s intervention in the Hareeb al-Qaramish ddistrict in Marib governorate which will help in meeting the needs of citizens.

The meeting addressed aspects related to the worsening humanitarian situation and the challenges facing humanitarian work in Yemen, and ways to overcome them.

Tawoos confirmed the importance of ongoing coordination with the Council to overcome any difficulties that may arise and to strengthen the partnership between the Council and the organization.

He confirmed the Council’s readiness to provide the necessary facilities to enable the organization implementing its humanitarian activities.

The head of the Canadian, British and Swedish projects team at Adra indicated that the organization is ready to do more and expand its humanitarian activities in Yemen.
