An expanded meeting to discuss the priorities of the need for 2021

An expanded meeting was held today in Sana’a for official bodies, chaired by The Secretary General of the SCMCHA Abdul Mohsen Tawoos.

The meeting, which included Acting Minister of Human Rights Ali Al-Dilmi, Deputy Minister of Water and Environment Hanin al-Dreib, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education Abdullah al-Naomi, Head of planning department of the Humanitarian Affairs Council Mutahar Zeid, head of the single -window department of the Council Hamza al-Mukhtar and head of the International Cooperation Department, Mana’a al-Asal, discussed the needs of 2021 and the need to focus on prioritizing needs in the most needy district in accordance with the results of the Integrated Food Security Interim Classification.

The meeting reviewed the criteria for determining the actual need.
The meeting also confirmed the important of working according to a mechanism that ensures meeting the needs of displaced persons in all sectors according to the areas that are the most at the level of displacement and the groups most in need.

The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs confirmed the importance of focusing on priorities for actual need in the development of the plan.
He pointed out the importance of strengthening the role of ministries and official bodies in the management of the Clusres to determine the need.

Tawoos added that it is important to work hard in this regard, as determining the actual need according to priorities that would alleviate the human suffering caused by the aggression and the blockade imposed on the Yemeni people.
