Tawoos: we are adhering to set up development projects, urging to look to agriculture.

The Secretary General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, Abdul Mohsen Tawoos, confirmed the council’s keenness to establish development projects, referring to the council’s efforts in monitoring and organizing the activities of organizations in order to reach the real goals in helping Yemen under the circumstances of aggression and siege.

This came during the conclusion of an administrative and cultural workshop for the workers of the Branch of SCMCHA today in Sa’da governorate

At the end of the workshop, which was in the presence of a number of agents and officials in the governorate, Tawoos confirmed that the organizations shall turn their projects to be sustainable projects, including water barriers, developmey in agriculture and projects.

Sa’da Governor Mohammed Jaber Awad praised the role of the council’s branch , local and international organizations in alleviating the suffering of citizens, especially as the aggression and siege continue.

He confirmed the importance of full coordination between the Branch of the Supreme Council and the executive offices concerned in the implementation of humanitarian projects and all that would meet the needs of the community for assistance.

For his part, The Director of the Branch of the Council in Sa’ada Mohammed Beydan explained that the workshop organized by the branch and lasted five days aimed to develop the performance of 130 employees of the branch of the Council and discuss the mechanisms of implementing the national vision of humanitarian agencies.
