Meeting discusses implementation of emergency response projects.

The Head of International Cooperation department of SCMCHA,Manea Al Asel, met today with Coordinator of the United Nations Population Fund ,Ahmed Salt.

During the meeting, they discussed the progress of the implementation of emergency response projects, the difficulties and challenges they face , the extent to which they contribute to meeting humanitarian needs quickly and effectively.

The meeting touched on the return of 12 reproductive health centres for work , the level of services and care provided to mothers and children in rural and urban areas.

Manea urged everyone to assume their responsibilities to promote the health sector, provide and promote health services, especially with regard to maternal and neonatal care services.

Al Asel stressed the efforts of the leadership of the Supreme Council to facilitate all difficulties and obstacles so that organizations can carry out their humanitarian and relief activities.

For his part, Malh said that about 15 to 20 reproductive health centers will return to work within a month, expressing the fund’s readiness to support the efforts of the Supreme Council in improving the health services for mother and child , providing all necessary medical equipment and supplies to hospitals and health centers.

The meeting was attended by The Director General of Organizations of SCMCHA Turki Jamil and General Manager of Projects Imad Hajar.
