Meeting with humanitarian partner in Hodeida.

Today, the WFP office in Hodeidah governorate held a meeting chaired by the Head of the Department of International Cooperation of the Supreme Council for The Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, Mana Al-Asal, and the Head of the Coordination Department of the Supreme Council Faisal Medhish, and the humanitarian partners in the Hodeidah axis.

At the meeting, which was attended by the Director General of the General Secretariat branch of Hajja Allan Dafars, deputy director general of the General Secretariat branch in Hodeidah province, Abdullah al-Ahdal and representatives of international organizations working. Al-Asal welcomed humanitarian partners in Hodeidah and Hajjah provinces.

He pointed out to the keenness and attention of the Secretary General of the Supreme Council AbdulMohsen Tawoos to raise the level of humanitarian work to meet the concerns and aspirations of the displaced and affected as a result of the brutal Saudi aggression on the homeland, as well as his keenness to overcome all the difficulties in the work of the partners.

He urged partners to feel the responsibility they have to save the lives of thousands of families displaced by the aggression. At the same time, he stressed the need to observe the standards of interventions and adhere to the principle of the need of the affected communities and not to exaggerate operational resources at the expense of meeting the basic needs of the people or to make interventions in less priority areas than others.

He pointed out that there are areas where the displaced and those affected lack the means of a decent living. Faisel Pointed out the importance of holding such meetings periodically to bring the views closer and correct and correct the course of humanitarian work.

Sonia Al-Masd, director of the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs at the Hodeidah axis, praised the suppall’s keenness to meet with humanitarian partners, Considering it a step in the right track to strengthen and activate the role of partnership and coordination between the two sides in order to ensure the progress of humanitarian work without any obstacles.

The meeting dealt with the reality of humanitarian work, the level of interventions and the extent to which the interventions and activities of humanitarian partners met the needs and requirements of the target groups.

The humanitarian partners have expressed their willingness to abide by all the contents and directions put forward by the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in the common interests of both sides.

On the same level, a meeting was held today with the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in The Hodeidah Axis, which included the head of the Department of International Cooperation in the Supreme Council of The Department of Humanitarian Affairs and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation Manaa al-Asal, and the head of the coordination department of the Supreme Council Faisal Medhish, the director of the UN office to coordinate humanitarian affairs at the Hodeidah axis, Sonia al-Masd.

The meeting, which was attended by the Director General of the General Secretariat branch in Hajjah Alan Virtues governorate and deputy director of the Branch of the Secretariat in Hodeidah Abdullah Al-Ahdal discussed the aspects of coordination and cooperation between the presidency of the Council and The OCHA, which contributes to the advancement of humanitarian work and providevarious aspects of support and assistance to those affected by the aggression.
